Ranken Patton, of Philadelphia, PA, on 2 Apr. 1868, with whom she had a son, Thos. Graham, on 21 Mar. 1869. (He died in childhood). Ellen was educated in Salem, NC. She died of "puerperal fever" on 27 Mar. 1869, less than a week after giving birth.
