He served as a Private in Captain Jeremiah Olney's Company and as a Sergeant and Ensign under various commands. He married Abigail Greene on 20 Nov 1777 at Coventry, Kent, Rhode Island. He is listed in the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Patriot database as Patriot #: P-319458.
