My grandfather is a WWII veteran of Europe, he and his 5 brothers saw combat and all returned home. I started researching to find out about my grandfather and along the way started documenting Chilson veterans. I am up to 876 Chilsons who have served from French and Indian War through the Global War on Terror, and everything in between. No Chilson was at Pearl Harbor, but every major battle in Africa, Italy, Europe, and the Pacific, a Chilson was present.
