y gggrandfather served in the Revoluntionary War under C.C. Pinckney in SC. He went back to NC after the war and settled in Macon Co., NC. He is buried at Holly Springs(old Jennings)cemetery near Franklin, NC. I was finally able to connect him for sure to the 1st regiment in SC, commanded by C.C. Pinckney.
