After returnng from Combat, and a few short assignments, Ed and his family (Lynn was a baby) went to Bradley Field Conn. where he ran the Field and Tower. This is the up-dated modifications they did on protecting the Gunners, the shield around the gun. This is in the "waist-window" of the B 25. This was done over in Africa soon after they arrived.
