Funeral services for Budo Glenn Perry, 91, will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. at the Church of Christ in Fort Gibson, OK. Burial will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

Budo was born September 15, 1923 at Braggs, OK, the son of Samuel Perry and MInnie (Harris) Perry and died Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Muskogee, OK. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of the area.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was stationed in six different countries: Sicily, England, France, Belgium, Germany, and Czechoslovakia. He fought in six major battles: Omaha Beach in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge), Rhineland, Central Europe, and Sicily. During the course of the war, he earned the Purple Heart. His occupations after the war were mechanic, carpenter, and farmer.
