STERLING G. WALKER JR., 79, of Memphis, retired warehouse manager from Kelly-Springfield Tire and Rubber Co., died of multiple organ failure Friday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He was a member of Colonial Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Walker, the husband of Reba Lurline Crihfield Walker, also leaves a son, Bert Alan Walker of St. Louis; a sister, Kathrine Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, Miss.; four brothers, Clarence Walker of Mt. Pleasant, Walter Walker of Memphis, Marion 'Pete' Walker of Denver and Robert Walker of Mississippi, two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
